Coolparts.com is now XHTML 1.0 Compliant

Coolparts.com is now compliant with the XHTML 1.0 Transitional standard.  Here is a brief introduction to what this compliance is, and what it means to Coolparts.com.

HTML Compliance means that your web-page is formatted in a certain and standard compliant way.   This means that a program like Internet Explorer or Firefox will be able to better render the same page.  Also, the rendering of the page will be similir.  Note, this is not guaranteed because there are still differences between different browsers.

We decided to make our web pages be XHTML 1.0 Compliant because we wanted additional insurance that all of our visitors would see the same website.  Also, going through all the pages to assure the compliance helped us find numerous bugs and errors that were quickly repaired  I am still debating on whether to put the XHML 1.0 Compliant sticker on our homepage.

If you have your own homepage, and wish test your website for compliance, go to http://validator.w3.org/. Put in your website URL, and hit Check. You will probably get a page saying that there are 100 errors or mistakes on the page. In actuality, there is less then this. Just that some errors get compounded by other ones and likewise.

Not every single page on Coolparts.com is XHTML 1.0 Compliant. So if you find a page that is not yet compliant, please contact us for a status page.

Thank you
Vlad
